Olurai legal
Terms of Service
These terms explain how Olurai works, what you can expect from us and what we ask of you when you use the website, application, sponsor data, connected inboxes or paid plans.
Effective and last updated: 27 August 2026
Who provides Olurai
The Olurai website and application (together, the Service) are provided and operated by Devantai, using the trading name Olurai. In these terms, “Olurai”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Devantai.
Our postal address is Roman Road, Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG23 8EP. You can contact us at hello@olurai.io.
Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you use Olurai for a business or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. If you do not agree to these terms, do not create an account or use the Service.
Your account
- Provide accurate, current information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your sign-in details and connected accounts secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
- Use only accounts, inboxes, social profiles and business information that you are authorised to use.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account, except where caused by our failure to use reasonable care.
One person or business may not create accounts to evade plan limits, suspension or safeguards.
What the Service does
Olurai helps creators find potential sponsors, organise professional contact information, prepare personalised introductions, connect or provision a sponsorship inbox, send email in the mode selected by the user, detect replies and manage follow-ups.
Features, plan limits and supported integrations may change as the Service develops. We will not materially reduce an active paid plan without reasonable notice unless the change is necessary for security, law, a third-party provider or service reliability.
Sponsor matches, contact details, pricing estimates and generated drafts are decision-support tools. They are not a promise of sponsorship, revenue, response, deliverability or legal compliance, and they should be reviewed before use.
Email outreach and acceptable use
You decide which organisations to contact, the sending mode and whether content is appropriate. You are responsible for having a lawful basis for each communication and for complying with applicable privacy, direct-marketing, anti-spam, advertising and platform rules.
You must not use Olurai to:
- send unlawful, deceptive, abusive, discriminatory or unsolicited bulk messages;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent a relationship, audience, offer or sponsorship;
- contact anyone who has opted out, or defeat suppression, rate, safety or provider controls;
- upload malware, scrape or reverse engineer the Service, or interfere with other users;
- sell, republish or use sponsor contact data outside your own legitimate sponsorship outreach; or
- infringe privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property or other rights.
We may delay, reject or stop messages and restrict accounts where reasonably necessary to protect recipients, users, providers or the Service.
Plans, payment and renewal
Free features can be used without a payment card. Paid Pro and Legend plans renew monthly until cancelled. The checkout page shows the applicable currency, taxes (if any), current price, any promotional price, how long a promotion lasts and the amount charged afterwards.
Payments are processed by Stripe. You authorise Stripe and Olurai to charge the selected payment method on each renewal date. If payment fails, we may retry it and limit paid features until payment succeeds.
Plan allowances reset as described in the Service and do not roll over unless expressly stated. Promotions cannot be combined unless checkout says otherwise. We may change future prices with advance notice; a price change will apply no earlier than a later renewal, subject to applicable law.
Cancellation, cooling-off and refunds
You may cancel a paid plan at any time through Settings → Plan & billing → Manage billing, or by emailing hello@olurai.io from your account email. We will acknowledge an email cancellation. Unless law requires otherwise, access continues until the end of the billing period and no further renewal is charged.
If you are a UK or EEA consumer, you may have a statutory right to cancel a distance service contract within 14 days without giving a reason. If you ask us to begin paid service immediately during that period and then cancel, we may charge a proportionate amount for service supplied before cancellation, where the law allows. Email us to exercise this right. Nothing in these terms limits a mandatory refund, remedy or other consumer right.
Outside mandatory rights, fees already paid are normally non-refundable. We may provide a refund or credit where the Service was materially unavailable or where we decide it is fair to do so.
Connected and Olurai-managed inboxes
When you connect Microsoft or another supported mailbox, you authorise Olurai to use the permissions shown during connection to send, read and manage sponsorship conversations for the features you choose. You can disconnect the integration, although features relying on it will stop.
A paid plan may include an Olurai-managed sponsorship address, subject to domain and mailbox availability, provider rules and the selection terms shown in the product. Domain registration, renewal, transfer and post-cancellation arrangements will be disclosed when you choose an address. A replacement domain or mailbox may carry the separately displayed fee.
Email providers and receiving networks control acceptance and delivery. We cannot guarantee that any message will be delivered, remain out of spam folders or receive a response.
Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties including cloud hosting and authentication, Stripe, Microsoft, domain registrars and email infrastructure providers. Their own terms and privacy notices may apply. We are not responsible for a third-party service outside our control, but this does not affect our duty to provide the Olurai Service with reasonable care and skill.
Content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of profile content, brand assets and other materials you provide. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the Service and fulfil your instructions.
Olurai and its licensors own the Service, software, design, branding and compiled sponsor database. These terms give you a limited, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account remains active; they do not transfer ownership.
If you give feedback, you allow us to use it without an obligation to compensate you, provided we do not identify you publicly without permission.
Suspension and ending an account
You may request account deletion from Settings or by contacting us. Cancellation of a subscription and deletion of an account are separate: cancel billing before deleting where the product directs you to do so.
We may suspend or end access where you materially breach these terms, create security or deliverability risk, fail to pay, misuse contact data or where law or a provider requires it. Where practical, we will explain the reason and give you a reasonable opportunity to correct it.
Sections intended to survive termination—including payment obligations, intellectual property, liability and dispute terms—continue to apply.
Service standards and liability
We will provide the Service with reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your mandatory consumer rights.
Subject to that, Olurai is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract began, losses caused by information or instructions you supplied, failures of third-party networks outside our reasonable control, or business losses suffered by a consumer.
If you use Olurai wholly for business purposes, our total aggregate liability arising from the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid Olurai in that period, except for liabilities that cannot legally be limited.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we use, why we use it, who receives it, how long we keep it and the rights available to individuals.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for new features, security, legal requirements or clearer wording. We will post the updated date and give reasonable advance notice of material changes. If a change materially disadvantages an active paid user, they may cancel before it takes effect.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory protections of the country where you live and may bring proceedings in any court available to you under applicable law. Otherwise, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
Please contact hello@olurai.io first so we can try to resolve a concern promptly.
